Kamusta! We’re Ogi and Anya, the owners of Little Manila, and we’re proud to bring Filipino food to the people of Aotearoa.

 

We moved to New Zealand in 2008 and worked as a Theatre Nurse and Account Manager, when the opportunity to change careers came along where we could work together on something we’re very passionate about — Filipino food!  We noticed that the Filipino migrants are increasing but we don't have much representation in terms of food offer here in New Zealand.

In 2018, we took over an existing Traditional Filipino Fast Food at Capital Market in the heart of Wellington City and have continued to grow its already loyal following by continuing to deliver Filipino cuisine. 

 

In 2019, we started Little Manila in the North City food court in Porirua.  We noticed though that Filipino cuisine is still unrecognized compared to other Asian cuisines, so we thought of a way to change the vehicle in how to deliver our food to wider demographics so we’ve just tweaked our menu to add Pinoy Buddha Bowls, a healthy option topped with Filipino toppings.  This has proven to be accepted by wider customer base.  End 2020, we opened our third branch at Queensgate Mall Food court.  Before 2021 ends, we will see you at Tauranga Crossing and at 18 Willis Street Food Courts.
